The primary purpose of this position is to assist the CFO and Finance Office in supporting the Finance Division. Primary responsibilities include: assistance to ensure accurate analysis, documents, projects, and reporting for Bi-State Development enterprises and internal service funds, administrative duties, Dunning Letters, office supplies, Finance Office correspondence, and business technology. Secondary responsibilities include: support, back-up and cross-training on duties related to cash, investment/banking functions, journal entries and financial statements.

Required Skills

  • Communicate with Finance managers and BSD senior management to gather information, help coordinate

projects, meetings, audits and various processes.

  • Prepare Dunning Letters and coordinate this activity with Accounts Receivable.

  • Assist CFO with outside correspondence.

  • Oversee the use of the Executive and Procard within Finance.

  • Assist CFO in monitoring PTO, vacation, out of office time for Finance.

  • Assist with I-Expense and review of expense reports.

  • Oversee the procurement and distribution office supplies for Finance Division.

  • Maintain the CFO calendar, meetings, and keep minutes of CFO staff meetings.

  • Coordinate the collection of Finance staff's month-end reconciliations for the Controller and CFO to review.

  • Review with the CFO the monthly and quarterly analysis of company and department financials.

  • Assist with ad hoc profitability analysis and long-term financial projections for various Bi-State Development

business units, as needed.

  • Provide support to departments within the Finance Division with limited resources.

  • Assist Treasury with unapplied cash, cash management, and mailings; including back-up and support of

daily bank account reconciliations, resolving cash and reconciliation issues.

  • Work with Budget to assist in preparing a 3-year operating and capital budget for the organization. This

assistance would include proofing and compiling documents; preparing graphs and presentations.

  • Assist CFO and other Finance staff in the preparation of forecasts and analysis of financial data, general

business conditions and other related areas.

Required Experience

Ability to work independently, set priorities, work under pressure, adapt to demanding situations and maintain schedules and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to work with departments and staff to obtain information, prepare reports, schedules/analysis.

  • Exercise good judgement

  • Ability to problem solve and analyze financial information.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required;

  • Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system, preferred

  • Ability to understand general banking transactions and processes

  • Ability to maintain confidential information

Experience: 3-5 years in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting

Education: Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting

Candidate should have the ability to provide the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of complex database and Informatica environments. Candidate should have strong experience in making recommendations on scalable and repeatable processes and implement tools/technology to proactively monitor the overall Platform health. Responsibilities include: * Maintenance and administration of Informatica across WIMT group in 24/7 production environments. * Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and data quality * Provides production support for technical issues and initiatives related to applications, systems, databases and reporting * Troubleshoots and resolve issues and restores services or data impacted * Evaluates service level agreement criteria; identifies gaps in current technology processes and recommends changes to assure OLAs/SLAs can be supported. * Provide technical expertise in identifying issues that impact the environment and service delivery * Organize issues and prioritize in a fast paced environment with hard deadlines * Drive multiple complex production issues simultaneously using a wide range of skills * Interact effectively with a variety of internal and external partners including distributed Systems, infrastructure, architecture, and software vendors * Partner with business and other technology teams on issue identification and resolution, problem solving, and planning * Assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security, access, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas via accepted change control processes. * Assist with the creation, maintenance, and testing of the business continuation plan (BCP) * Lead 3-5 individual contributors Note: You may be required to work outside of normal working hours to implement scheduled change controls and help resolve production issues in 24x7 environment.
