About the job

As Financial Analyst, you will support the financial reporting and analysis function for the Food Heat Transfer business.

Financial and Reporting Related Responsibilities

• Ensure local compliance with Alfa Laval Group Finance policies.

• Provide primary local ERP software support for processes including order entry, invoicing, inventory control, production purchasing, and production control.

• Ensure data integrity in ERP (TCM) and related Alfa Laval specific software (Movex, One4AL and Datawarehouse).

• Implement product costing and factory accounting routines for new equipment orders and shop orders in accordance with Alfa Laval requirements.

• Create and Maintain Standard Costs for Contherm Parts

• Maintain A/R account information.

• Create Monthly Journal Entries for closing.

• Product costing per voucher report from A/P

• Lead the annual cost update processes to establish labor and overhead rates for the factory.

• Perform Account Reconciliations and Analysis for the Contherm Product Center activities.

• Compile and submit bi-weekly payroll.

• Maintain translation tables for data transfer from TCM to MOVEX, AL Cube.

• Create, maintain, and distribute Weekly/Monthly Reports using Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and ODBC

• Monitor and track shop order variance report.

• General monitoring of order entry, shop orders and inventory for errors.

Inventory Management

• Coordinate/Supervise/Reconcile annual physical inventory account for Contherm.

• Cycle count verification and yearly inventory coordination.

Other, Non-Primary Responsibilities

• Experience in customer order processing including EDI transactions.

• Domestic and International shipping and invoicing of new equipment projects and spare parts.

• Process RMA's and other credits needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, or similar.

• Type and Length of Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in finance and administration position.

Preferred, 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment working with finance and inventory management.

• Organized and works well with tight deadlines; Multitasking and prioritizing; Works well independently and as a member of a team. General Accounting Knowledge, Domestic and International Shipping documentation preparation.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
