The role you'll contribute:

The Financial Analyst applies technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide solutions/improvements within the Physician Enterprise Finance department. This person demonstrates competencies in decision support and reporting through converting raw data into useful and actionable information. This person is responsible for compiling and analyzing data as well as for creating meaningful tools to support executive decision making. Character traits include: strong work ethic, trainability, communicative, team player and a positive "can do" attitude.

  • Effectively creates dynamic and sustainable reporting solutions using computer software to support management decision making;

  • Maintains thorough and appropriate electronic documentation to instruct others on how to utilize, run, or replicate reports;

  • Reviews, validates and prepares financial information to maintain a record of Physician Enterprise profit and loss and other financial activities within the organization;

  • Research and interprets findings in areas such as provider productivity, compensation, medical group operations, revenue cycle, employee engagement, or industry benchmarking to inform management of opportunities or accomplishments;

  • Supports business intelligence initiatives by providing business insights and generating ideas for how to synthesize data to aide departmental online dashboard development;

  • Develops professional presentations using computer software to convey organizational results or trends for management;

  • Answers questions or inquiries for help with reporting tools or products to equip our end users with knowledge to make appropriate decisions;

  • Collaborates with team members in innovating existing processes and reports to continually improve business methods and automate the dissemination of information.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related required
  • 1-3 years of physician/healthcare finance experience preferred
