As the financial analyst, you will be a dedicated resource supporting Reverse Servicing and includes managing expense planning, staffing models, P&L reporting & analysis, the identification of cost savings and related process improvement initiatives across the Mortgage Servicing business segment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee the financial variance, trend, and ad-hoc analysis for the Reverse Servicing segment and partner with the management team, both operational and corporate, to provide value-added insight into the business

  • Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets, including utilization/development of models to support expectations.

  • Proactively identify, track, and analyze key financial and non-financial business metrics; with the goal of contributing to business decisions and driving operational results

  • Track and analyze vendor expense for Reverse Servicing to provide insights into vendor spend and opportunities for savings

  • Prepare a monthly/quarterly reporting package that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, and actual versus budget variances

  • Ad hoc analyses and projects as needed by the Finance Team and our business partners

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline required

  • Minimum of 4 years Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)/financial reporting experience preferred

  • Direct experience in Mortgage or the Financial Services industry preferred

  • Exceptional financial modeling and presentation skills

  • Average comprehension of GAAP accounting and financial statements

  • Experience with Cost Benefit Analysis for large scale projects, including benefit measurement (e.g. IRR, ROI, etc.)

  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, etc.

  • TM1, Essbase or similar database experience (TM1 Preferred)

  • SQL experience preferred, but not required

PSG's Urgent Care/CareNow Division is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the general accounting and analysis functions of Urgent Care Centers. Provide monthly financial statements for review by management. Ensure development, implementation and evaluation of departmental accounting standards. This role is also responsible for administrating certain monthly/daily process and functions, ad hoc reporting requests, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance – Urgent Care Centers. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: * Prepare projections as required to accurately report/ forecast operational performance. * Prepare monthly reports for corporate data submissions and compile information to evaluate performance in relation to benchmarks. * Prepare detailed monthly actual to budget variance reports to support practice management. * Assist in training of new/existing financial staff as needed. * Assist practice management, as needed with financial information requests and questions. * Participate in development and detailed review of operation budgets and performance benchmarks. * Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved. Knowledge, skills & abilities: * Knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices sufficient to identify and describe accounting systems and sub-systems. * Knowledge of the financial accounting process. * Knowledge of research techniques to analyze and evaluate financial data and information. * Knowledge of accounting information systems. * Proficiency with PC-based spreadsheet and word processing programs. * Effective organizational skills. * Ability to analyze financial reports. * Ability to prepare statistical and narrative accounting reports. * Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written. * Ability to work well with others. * Ability to organize work independently and consistently achieve reporting deadlines. * Ability to interact with other individuals at all levels of management. Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field as required. * Additional related experience would be considered in lieu of a completed degree program.
