A large corporate company located in Center City is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst. Candidates who want to become a key partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management will be interested in this opening for a Financial Analyst.

This position would involve conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Candidates for this Financial Analyst position will be expected to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This Financial Analyst role is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area and is a long term temporary employment opportunity.

Major responsibilities for this Financial Analyst position include: Creating effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and recommendation support, lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required, uncovering the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends, working with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process, assembling and overviewing forecasting reports. Candidate will need to be comfortable working next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

Requirements
The ideal Financial Analyst must have at least two years experience as well as BA/BS degree in finance or a related field. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system. We are seeking an individual with financial planning analysis background (go-to-market experience preferential) with the ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively. The right person for this Financial analyst position will have a background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role).
