Job Summary

• Assist current and prospective students with the financial aid application process.

• Review student applications to determine financial need and award aid according to federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies.

• Evaluate documentation provided by students chosen for verification by the U.S. Department of Education.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Two (2) years of relevant office experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical Diploma or Associate Degree from a regionally-accredited college.

Two (2) years of financial aid experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong communication skills both written and verbal; Attention to detail, office administration, customer service, time management, and organizational skills required. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have a strong work ethic. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Experience working with Banner, FAST, COD, FSA Partner Connect, and Microsoft Teams is a plus, but not required.
