Job Title: Financial Aid Clerk

Job Description: The Financial Aid Clerk will work as a front-desk receptionist, greeting and assisting visitors, staff, students, and faculty while providing information and directing them as needed. Establishing a hospitable environment, conducting professional exchanges, and managing sensitive data with care. This position will manage the office email account, respond to inquiries, and handle incoming mail, in addition to performing various administrative tasks within the office and assisting with special projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide a positive "frontline" experience to the public for Bethune-Cookman University and the Office of Financial Aid;
Manage the reception area: organize front desk, storage, and lobby area to maintain a clean and professional environment for visitors. Maintain daily records;
Responsible for retrieving, opening, processing, date entering, and routing incoming mail;
Assist with data entry;
Support the financial aid team;
All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must possess a High School Diploma and have at least three (3) years of experience in customer service and support within a professional environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred

Ability to work in a collaborative, diverse, and team-orientated environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality of sensitive data.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Must have analytical and technology skills.
