Position Overview
Position Summary
Under limited supervision, train and supervise tracking, filing and imaging of all documents necessary for the aid awarding process.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee weekly mailing of award notification and missing information letters to students
Oversee logging in, sorting, organizing, electronic tracking and filing of all documents necessary for the aid awarding process
Oversee deposit and reconciliation of incoming scholarship checks to university accounts in conjunction with the scholarship specialist
Monitor level of accuracy and speed with which information is entered into the database
Maintain file storage, imaging, and retention
Supervise file destruction
Prepare routine mailings
Act as back up to reception function
Regular and predictable attendance required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or an equivalent certificate and a minimum of one-year experience directly related to the duties specified is required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge in the use of standard office equipment including typewriter, calculator, computer hardware and software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work
