What is the opportunity?

RBC Wealth Management is growing and our adivsory business is expanding! This position as a Financial Advisor Recruiter is an integral member of the PCG Advisor Recruiting and Retention team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to source and attract qualified, diverse, top-tier, talent that meet RBC's critical Financial Advisor hiring needs. You will successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide competitive business and market intelligence. We need a self-starter with a proven ability to build and grow relationships that will drive our business results.

What will you do?

  • Partner with Complex Directors, Divisional leader and Sourcing Program Manager to create sourcing and recruitment strategies.

  • Identify, attract and engage talent who are not typically found through traditional, active sourcing channels.

  • Evaluate motivators of passive and active candidates as well as influence candidate decision making.

  • Effectively manage ongoing relationships with external candidates, as well as internal stakeholders.

  • Utilize Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Force and leverage a variety of databases and Social network tools to identify talent for strategic and hard to fill roles.

  • Source and pre-screen candidates from online databases, contact lists, RBC ATS and employee referrals.

  • Prepare detailed sourcing reports to help the recruitment team identify effective sourcing channels.

  • Report on effective recruiting trends and recommend specific courses of action based on market data.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant recruitment experience with a primary focus on identification and candidate development.

  • Prior sales and pipeline management experience and experience in financial services/banking is required.

  • A strong affinity towards client service and demonstrated ability to establish credibility to build and grow effective and productive working relationships.

  • Strong knowledge using various web-based search databases, professional networking sites.

  • Strong relationship building and management skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative culture of high performance.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in financial services/banking.

  • Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66.

The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm.
