Financial Accountant

Mark III Construction is currently seeking a Financial Accountant for our corporate office in Sacramento. The Financial Accountant is responsible for preparing and recording financial transactions and managing the lien waiver process. This position will report to the Controller.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Record daily deposit
• Collect and process lien waivers
• Set up new jobs in the accounting system
• Perform other weekly and monthly financial processes

Qualifications:

• Candidate should have some accounting experience
• Experience working in the construction industry preferred
• Individual must be strong and proficient with Microsoft products including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Be able to comprehend and follow instructions and be able to multi-task.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Be a strong team player and able to take initiative.

Salary Range: $25 - $35 per hour DOE
