Your Role

Join Atlas Copco as a Finance Team Lead where you will manage the finance group in the operations of all finance related activities. You will also oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, reporting, and taxes. As part of the finance and accounting team you will report to the Business Controller. This is a hybrid position located in Voorheesville, NY.

• You will help monitor the financial performance of the organization.

• You will oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, tax reports. and budgets.

• You will ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards, company procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• You will review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure there is adequate back up on place for all transactions.

• You will analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, raise red flags for any deviations observed and provide recommendations for resolution.

• You will develop and implement accounting systems, adequate internal controls, and undertake digitalization projects to improve the efficiency of financial operations.

• You will manage the accounting team, provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to team members.

• You will work with direct reports to ensure they meet their professional development goals.

• You will assist management and other departments on all accounting processes.

• You will help with internal and external audits.

To succeed, you will need

• You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field, or have equivalent experience.

• You have 4 or more years of experience in an accounting or finance role in a manufacturing setting.

• You have 2 or more years of experience leading a team.

• You have knowledge of accounting, general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, product costing, and taxes.

• You are proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
