Finance Systems Manager

Finance Systems Manager for ChampionX Resources, Inc. (Sugar Land, TX). Conducts most phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application technology to the current and future business environment. Partners with Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams to coordinate and lead the systems activities for key processes including monthly close, monthly forecast, annual plan, strategic planning and year-end restatements.

Provides project leadership for medium to large Finance Systems projects, including developing and managing project plans, task assignment, milestone tracking, status reporting and resource oversight. Oversees end to end system change management process; collaborates with business teams to ensure understanding of requested changes; ensures appropriate testing and documentation, and deployment. Responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the work of other business systems analysts.

Acts as a business expert and resource for complex business process or development problems. Applies expertise in the designing of internal processes and influences development changes with internal and external vendors to improve business processes. This includes strategic responsibility for developing short-term and long-term objectives as well as managing vendor relationships and influencing future product design considerations.

Acts as a liaison to internal IT team and consulting partner regarding system development, application performance, system monitoring, server environments, and hardware/software upgrades. Mentors skill development within Oracle EPM toolset.

Must possess a Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance or Information Technology and four (4) years of post-bachelors progressive experience in job offered or related position. Experience must include: directly supporting Oracle HFM/EPM solutions; developing and supporting system integration and ETL solutions using Oracle FDMEE, programming using Python and VBA, and hands on experience with MS SQL, managing a global environment and interacting with senior leadership; and managing vendor relationships and determining clear, concise, deliverables and objectives.
