What you'll be doing...

You'll be working alongside the brightest minds in the business and using the latest technologies and processes to support our critical business infrastructure in our Center of Excellence. As a Financial Systems Analyst Accounting Support Systems, you will act as a technical and subject matter expert and assist the Supervisor with the day to day operations of the department. Working cross functionally with different internal stakeholders, this role requires an individual who will ensure our models are effectively protecting the business.

  • Supporting the Supervisor in project planning and system testing, end-user interfaces for system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and production fixes.

  • Providing financial system support for all Accounting and Finance teams during and between book closure periods.

  • Supporting the revenue reconciliation process on a variety of billing systems and ensuring transition to SAP.

  • Working closely with the IT organization on performing system maintenance, installing upgrades and implementing system enhancements.

  • Performing assessments of financial systems and processes and developing improvement strategies for reporting, analysis and internal controls.

What we're looking for...

You enjoy working with and manipulating complex data sets and have the ability to convey this information to all levels of leadership throughout the organization. You are detail oriented and possess strong organizational, analytical, investigative and problem solving skills. You are great at managing large projects and have the foresight to identify and remedy potential problems before they arise.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support department goals/objectives

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, accounting or finance.

  • Extensive experience with SQL/Mainframe Data Mining/JCL.

  • PeopleSoft, SAS, SAP or other ERP experience.

  • CPA or CMA certification (currently holds or in the process of obtaining).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.

  • Project management skills.

One of the objectives of this role would be to ensure that systems and applications are being fully utilized to achieve operational efficiency and to ensure a positive customer experience. The Business Systems Analyst will work with application vendors, the Bank's IT and data groups and department staff to achieve this end. The Business System Analyst will proactively look for ways to improve efficiencies that will additively increase department scalability and throughput. RESPONSBILITIES: * Consults with Contact Center Support management and teammates to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures and issues. Translate these to a variety of documents including flow diagrams, requirement documents, scope diagram, mapping documents and other documents as directed. * Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures. Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified business systems. Consults and coordinates with operations leaders, IT, telephony and data teams, systems analysts and developers to design and develop automated business applications or interfaces. * Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing. Consults with business unit management and personnel to obtain additional information during system development and evaluate alternatives. * Directs and coordinates work of others to develop, test, install, and modify programs. Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications. Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures. Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests. Prepares time and cost estimates for completing projects. * Stays up to date on industry changes and creates an open environment that fosters idea generation and innovation. * Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of special projects affecting the Customer Service Contact Center. * Participates in company-wide committees to help influence strategic decisions. * Assists with other areas of contact center support as needed. * Adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations, laws and bank policies and procedures. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Ability to analyze each process within multi channel contact center to determine its value (risk/reward) and to identify improved efficiencies. * Must be proficient in PC functions including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and all bank related systems with the ability to learn other computer systems/programs quickly. Familiarity with telephony software vendor (Noble preferred), IVR and workforce management solutions. * Acts as the primary conduit between Contact Center Operations, Telephony vendor, and internal data, telephony and IT teams to manage Business Systems support. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Good interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently. * Available to work overtime as necessary to meet the primary objectives of the job.
