The LAC Area Finance Supervisor role is responsible for coordinating the ADD LAC Area Consolidation process as well as providing direct financial support to some of the LAC affiliates including Colombia and the Distributor region and Central America.
Assist in the Area process for the preparation and review of Plan, rLBE/IBP; adapting to changes in the business environment and/or commercial strategy and implementing solutions to meet the needs of the management team.
Manage the Area month-end closing and financial reporting process including the review of preliminary results and the coordination of topside consolidating financial entries, publishing monthly financial metrics, analysis and commentary.
Facilitate data collection and analysis from the regions/countries ensuring reasonableness of the information on an absolute and performance basis with the continuous goal of understanding the different business drivers of the various regions / countries.
Participate as the Area Finance lead or country liaison with assigned countries which requires supervisor to have a robust understanding of the countries market, customers, pipeline, performance, risks, opportunities, etc. Supervisor is the 1st point of contact for the country finance teams and Area FD / Area Controller. Facilitate weekly touch point calls with responsible countries.
Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Departmental budgets for Area in Actuals, and coordinate Plan, Update and LBE with Department managers.
Meet timing and quality standards to facilitate effective senior management review and decision-making.
Regularly involved in special projects with the Area Controller and Finance Director, business unit Controllers, and other members of commercial management.
Proactively look for ways to improve the planning and reporting processes
Manage the departments FPDP and completing all responsibilities of an assignment manger
5-8 years of finance/accounting experience required
International Divisional, Area or Affiliate experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills, innovative thinking and problem solving ability.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Analytical and organizational skills
Power-Excel user and previous experience with TM1 and/or Essbase is preferred.
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required
MBA/CPA strongly desired
