About the role

We're looking for a Finance & Strategy Manager who will ensure that we are deploying our capital wisely and are on track to achieve our long-term financial goals. The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex cross-functional projects. As a representative of the F&S team, you will provide strategic decision-making support for the health of the company.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Win a seat at the table by developing deep business partner relationships across your coverage areas

  • Lead the quarterly and annual forecasting and budget process

  • Identify and lead projects to drive operational improvements

  • Provide financial and strategic insight to your business partners, acting as the CFO of your coverage areas

  • Partner with teams to develop their short- and long-term strategic plans, and help them execute

  • Use financial and business metrics to evaluate investment priorities and evaluate potential alternatives

  • Define metrics that can track business performance

Some things we consider critical for this role:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, such as management consulting, project management, or at a finance & strategy team at a high-growth tech company

  • Tried ability to influence at multiple levels with an organization

  • Excellent proficiency in Excel

  • Polished interpersonal skills and comfort working with internal and external partners including leadership

  • An ability to think from first principles and work independently

  • Strong attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture

  • A strong understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study

Bonus points:

  • Experience working with SQL & Looker

  • Experience at a fintech company or high-growth startup

Finance Manager, Network Spend Analytics Responsibilities * Analyze forecast drivers and financial model assumptions in order to surface insights into correlation between different silos of network infrastructure investment Drive the creation of a "Finance Point of View" on long-term network infrastructure investment strategy Collaborate with business partners to develop a long-range plan for network infrastructure as well as CapEx/OpEx targets Drive ad hoc financial analyses to support and to enable sound investment decisions Prepare and deliver presentations to cross-functional business partners as well as leaders in the Infra and Finance organization Mentor colleagues within the Network Finance team Minimum Qualifications * 7+ years experience in Financial modeling and data analysis from a consulting, investment banking, private equity or Fortune 500 company Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Sciences, or Engineering Highly skilled at using Excel to build and maintain financial models Experience building and managing relationships with business partners and other cross functional stakeholders Experience balancing attention to detail with keeping an eye on the big picture Experience navigating through ambiguity and unstructured problems Knowledge of finance, accounting, and infrastructure technology concepts Preferred Qualifications * Experience in investment banking, equity research, or management consulting covering companies in the network equipment or network infrastructure industries Familiarity with basic SQL concepts MBA degree Locations About the Facebook company Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
