Global Business Services (GBS) Timekeeping is seeking a strong candidate who is focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous process improvement. Timekeeping is responsible for ensuring timecards are accurate and compliant with Raytheon policies, and Federal and State Labor Laws.
This NON EXEMPT position will also be responsible for working iSupport tickets from internal and external customers, this requires the ability to conduct research and perform calculations, reviews and data entry to support the labor process. The Timekeeping Team manages a high volume, fast-paced process in a team oriented environment with continuously expanding responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities include:
Effective customer support through reliable, quick and accurate problem resolution
Interact and collaborate with HR and Finance to interpret guidelines and policy
Maintain process documentation for assigned tasks
Compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics
Check for work accuracy and detect and correct errors within current responsibilities
Performing calculations, reviews and data entry to support the labor process
Understanding labor policies and Federal & State wage and hour laws
Detail oriented Self-starter with ability to drive change to promote productivity and efficiency
Strong skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service in a corporate environment
Analytical ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve customer issues
Proven and effective problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and reach consensus decisions
Ability to work flexible schedule, possibly outside normal business hours
Able to multi-task, prioritize and work independently as well as collaborate with teammates for effective workload management and to fulfill customer requirements
Proven customer service, verbal and written communication skills
Strong PC-based skills; Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel
Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment
Working knowledge of SAP, PRISM/Apex or PeopleSoft with emphasis within areas of Timekeeping or Payroll
