Description:

  • Position ensures that all required financial inputs (including reporting) are reviewed, analyzed and submitted on time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, and Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development.

  • The candidate must possess understanding of EVMS, the associated analysis metrics of SPI, CPI, TCPI, and IEAC, budget trace to contract documentation reconciliation and the capability to determine trends and recognize quality variance analysis that includes cause, impact and corrective action substantiation. Individual shall also play a vital role in internal financial planning (e.g., bookings, sales, profit and cash forecasting and analysis) and billings support

Additional Job Details:

  • 5 years of experience

  • Provide financial analysis and support for the F/A-18 programs.

  • Assist with weekly SRO, quarterly formal forecast, AOP and 5 Year planning.

  • Work with PM and IPTLs to baseline new programs in accordance with policies.

  • Perform SAP Earned Value Reporting.

  • Use PMX to create and maintain EV artifacts including the Control Account Document, Secondary Work Authorizations, WBS Dictionary, Program Log, and Responsibility Accountability Matrix.

  • Prepare charts and present financial data at weekly Program Performance Reviews.

  • Run monthly RIVR comparisons in PMX and make corrections where necessary to ensure alignment between the Earned Value tool and the IMS.

  • Maintain program logs (MR, UB, BCRs, etc.) for assigned IPT(s).

  • Lead quarterly EAC process and prepare and review EACs with appropriate management levels.

  • Support contracts in providing information for customer inquiries such as program actuals or expenditure profiles.

Examples of professional designations: * CFP, CPA or similar certifications * RFC (registered financial consultant), RIA (registered investment advisor) * Broker-dealer * Employee in banking or financial service industry * Ability to handle heavy writing workload while meeting editorial standards and guidelines * Familiarity with writing for an online publication, with basic understanding of SEO, HTML, and WordPress or similar CMS * Knowledge of AP Style * Please send a brief cover letter, resume, and links to 2-3 published writing samples.
