Role Summary:
As Finance Servicing Administrator, you will assist in the management of mortgage payments processing and investor remittance reporting. This role will also provide support to other members of Finance, including back-up for Accounts Payable.
What You'll do:
Processes daily lockbox and check deposit detail information at loan level in Strategy
Identifies payment suspense items and notifies loan administrators of issues as they arise
Manages portfolio of loans in the monthly Auto-Debit reports; including review and analysis of hold codes, change of receivables, sets up of new auto-debit accounts, ensures debits agree with bank details and investigates report issues
Process daily telephone payments
Run daily Citibank report of bounced payments and reverse transactions previously recorded in Strategy for each loan listed
Prepares and coordinates monthly borrower billing statements
Assists in preparing monthly investor remittance reporting with portfolio of loans
Review, analyze and reconcile daily cash versus Strategy reconciliation process
Manage new vendor setups in Strategy
Participates in system related testing requirements
Provides back-up support to Sr Servicing Analyst and Accounts Payable (as necessary)
Liaising with other personnel across the organization to gather information required for various management reports; participating in meetings, as needed
Provide periodic reporting requests for various financial and investor audits
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree required with 1 - 2 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounts Receivables preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Microsoft Excel required
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Superior time management skills are required, with the ability to multi-task efficiently to meet deadlines
Exceptionally strong communication skills are required
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills essential
Ability to work independently and in a team setting

This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will work from the Manhattan office two - three days a week. The salary range is $65,000 - $80,000, dependent on experience.
