Join the Finance Leadership Development Rotational Program at Weber Inc. and embark on a transformative journey spanning three years, during which you'll rotate through three distinct roles within our Finance organization. Over the course of each year-long assignment, you'll assume full-time responsibilities within your designated functional area while spearheading key projects in collaboration with leadership. This program offers a unique opportunity to garner a comprehensive understanding of our organization through immersive on-the-job experiences, strategic project involvement, mentorship, external training, executive exposure, and networking events.

Based at our Palatine, IL Headquarters, the rotations offer a hybrid office/work-from-home schedule to accommodate your needs. As a participant, you should anticipate securing a role within the broader organization upon program completion, positioning you for future accelerated leadership opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

During each rotation, you'll swiftly assimilate into the department's dynamics, setting goals in alignment with team leaders. Rotation options include:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business units and functional teams to understand their financial needs, provide analytical support, and assist with decision-making processes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Reporting: Analyzes financial results and performance metrics on a monthly basis with a focus on SG&A spend.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Supports the annual budget and forecast processes, reporting, and analysis.

  • Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis: Provides support across finance leadership to assist with projects and business case development on an as needed basis.

Global Supply Chain & Operations Finance:

  • Reporting: Analyzes financial results and performance metrics monthly with a focus on productivity tracking and US distribution spend.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Supports the annual budget and forecast processes, reporting, and analysis for productivity targets & US distribution

  • Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis: Provides support across finance leadership to assist with supply strategy projects and business case development on an as needed basis.

Strategic Finance & Treasury:

  • Responsibilities include...

  • Assists with short-term cash flow forecasting for the USA and Global organization cash flows.

  • Assists with multi-year cash flow modeling for the global organization.

  • Reconciliation of weekly cash forecast to actuals

  • Support daily cash and liquidity banking requirements.

  • Provides ad hoc analysis to the Treasury Team (including CFO) and participates in special cross-functional projects as needed.

  • Assists with the building of Power BI reports to deliver key business insights.

Americas Finance:

Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and forecasts for the Americas region (US, Canada, Latin America)

  • Participate in the preparation of presentations and financial models for senior management.

  • Participate in the preparation of presentations and financial models for senior management.

Analysis:

  • Analyzes financial results and performance metrics monthly with a focus on revenue and gross margin

  • Help identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.

Budgeting:

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, including data gathering, spreadsheet modeling, and analysis.

  • Collaborate with various departmental teams to gather financial data and ensure it aligns with financial planning assumptions.

Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and trend analysis. Help identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and the broader business to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Who We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant finance experience, preferably in a corporate environment )

  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving results.

  • Effective problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and foster relationships.
