Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring a Finance Process Manager based in Houston, Texas.
Help to determine and fully support the implementation of business policies, generally by providing the contents for the business rules that enforce the policy and the process context in which the rules are applied
Oversee the execution of processes; confirming business rules and policies have been adequately followed, and that any exceptions are well-documented and appropriate for the event
Provide support, analysis, and research into complex issues
Provide technical application expertise in the execution of daily deliverables
Assist in driving transformation and innovation
Develop and deliver training on systems and applications
Coordinate and assist with user acceptance testing for new or enhanced financial solutions
Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external key resources
Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting
8+ years in relevant accounting or audit experience, including supervisory or team lead positions.
Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
General knowledge of accounting principles.
Ability to work independently or with a team to drive initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Experience with development and reporting of process metrics.
SAP, Oracle, Blackline, ARM.
Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access skills a plus.
Project Management skills a plus.
Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines.
Some travel may be required.
