Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Company as Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst for NCR's Banking Business Unit reporting to the NAMER Banking Finance Executive Director and directly supporting the centralization and management of business and reporting needs of the whole Banking Business Unit. This role will support the NAMER Region within the Banking industry and will work with Regional Sales, Controllership, BU Leadership and other cross functional groups across the business.
Directly support multiple teams in completing weekly orders and monthly full P&L forecast. Build required supporting files and analysis to aid reporting, analysis and future comparisons.
Work closely with Operations on Hardware to aligned
Complete variance analysts of actual results to Forecast, Prior Year and Plan. Including building bridge of changes and supporting building of any recovery plans needed.
Validate result through close process and process occasional correcting Journal Entry.
Support Annual Planning process in behalf of Banking BU, including coordination and support of region submission, interlock with functional groups, liaison with CFP&A.
Participate and coordination of Strategic Plan Process and submissions.
Cooperate in Centralization, standardization and modernization of reporting and tools. And deployment and adoption of these tools in role execution.
Support standard product and customer reporting, including bridging.
Participate in deployment of Corporate Planning and reporting changes, e.g CPP
Working with NAMER Banking leadership to define, build and report KPI data
Provide direction and decision support in financial planning, forecasting, reporting and pricing to the Banking team
Support NAMER Banking leadership on all reporting needs
Help populate standard templates for MBR, QBR and other key management meetings
Coordinate with other functional groups [global sales, CTO, CS, PS, ISG, CFP&A] to load OL and provide standard bridges [V's PR OL, Plan, PY, PQ, etc], risk and upsides tables.
Partner with the Industry Global Sales Leader to drive metrics and dashboards to support transparency and effective decision making
Drive Forecast improvement initiatives
Support any M&A integration activity and analysis to support future M&A, adhoc as requested by NAMER Executive Director.
Help your Regional managers interpret key success metrics, contextualizing for your specific Industry, and working with the business teams to develop action plans to address root-cause issues
Assist in reconciling differences in actual results and Sales Compensation results
Compile reporting and financial information for product and market analysis.
Support the company's efforts by working cross-functionally for product/solution Master Data Management (MDM), Customer Data Management (CDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Assist in the preparation of financial analysis for on-going product rationalization.
Be ambassador for change, always looking to ways to improve reporting access, readability, content and value across all level of the organization.
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance,
Understands and is able to apply critical thinking, and strategic business and finance experience to help drive business decisions
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization senior management, team members, peers, and partners.
Proven capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role
