Job Summary

Administers the bank's Cash Management, including the bank's CETO program and cash delivery services. Assist with correspondent bank and customer cash ordering services. Assist in daily cash settlement functions and the bank's bond portfolio transaction processing and reporting. Balances various correspondent bank accounts, general ledger accounts and monthly statements. Maintains interest rate indexes in core banking system updates deposit rate sheet. Serves as primary operations contact with Promontory for servicing CDAR and ICS accounts.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Maintain and Administer CETO cash vault program to assess cash balance requirements.

  • Manage the banks cash delivery services, schedules, and relationship with Rochester Armored Car.

  • Maintain and Administer systems and procedures for monitoring the bank's daily cash inflows and outflows.

  • Manages investment transaction processing (including settlement of purchases, redemptions, and payments; pledging; and making general ledger entries).

  • Monitors public funds pledging and balance collateral requirements.

  • Bank reconciliation including balancing intercompany general ledger accounts and correspondent bank accounts.

  • Maintain and administer deposit rate sheet and rate index changes within bank software's.

  • Generate and review monthly reports.

  • Retrieve, review, reconcile and archive daily reports related to Promontory Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS) and Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) accounts. Post adjusting entries to general ledger, customer records and Promontory as needed.

  • Assist Financial Analyst on various tasks.

  • Assist with special projects and software changes.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this job are as follows:

  • An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and/or 3+ years of applicable work experience in the financial, or other similar industries.

  • Attention to detail; an ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks; an ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks; and analytical ability.

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills; and

  • An ability to maintain the confidentiality of company, employee, and customer information.

  • Proficient with computers and has the ability to learn computer applications and use them to provide efficiencies with this position.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify exceptions.
