Finance Manager

PURPOSE:

THOR Industries is seeking a highly motivated candidate who is accountable for the financial reporting and proper accounting practices for certain operating entities that are currently managed from THOR's Global Headquarters, located in Elkhart, Indiana. This position requires in-office presence of at least 4-days/week and periodic local travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain or review financial records and ensure that transactions are recorded properly and comply with company policies and applicable regulations

• Development and implementation of cost control processes and documents

• Provide forecasting, cost control strategies and operational risk analysis

• Perform data analysis to identify trends and budget deviations

• Ensures the accuracy of ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger account to the general ledger

• Prepare or review of balances sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other related field

• CPA strongly preferred but not required

• 4-7 years of previous relevant experience required

• Excellent communication, engagement, and organizational skills

• Must be task oriented, as well as pay close attention to details
