Finance Manager, Ring Finance

DESCRIPTION

Ring is actively seeking a Finance Manager to support the Company's financial planning, budgeting and analysis as well providing business insights. You will be responsible for working with the finance team, partnering with the business to help them understand and manage their budgets and forecasts, and developing new reporting capabilities as well as automating existing processes. You will work proactively to deliver insights to relevant constituents. You will also facilitate communications across the organization, delivering insightful financial analyses and reports to internal and external partners and working closely with the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. You will get as much responsibility as you demonstrate you can handle!

Key job responsibilities

• Assist in the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to determine key drivers impacting the Company's performance

• Work with the finance team to maintain the rolling forecasting process used to identify and communicate areas that may require additional focus as well as risks and opportunities to the latest plan

• Recommend, implement and report on benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance

• Monitor and communicate trends, and assess implications along with developing actionable strategies around resourcing and headcount plans

• Work with cross functional teams (Product, IT, People, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to help them manage their financial goals and drive better efficiency and productivity

• Aid in various ad-hoc financial analyses and projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
