This position manages the tacticaland strategic support of pricing/promotions in the Consumer Brands Group OrderManagement systems, while providing a shared services concept to all Divisionsand Departments for all customers.
MAJORTASKS PERFORMED BY THIS JOB:
Manages the processof promptly and accurately creating and/or updating pricelists and promotions.
Manage and monitorthe Pricing Workflow and Pricing Group e-mail databases on a daily basis.
Address items thatappear to be unresolved within a specified time frame.
Research customerprice/promo related deductions or small balance write offs.
Root cause analysisto identify problems and ensure accuracy.
Track price relateddeductions and reclassify to gauge true Pricing Group errors.
Successfulimplementation of any new business integration/acquisition, either by creatingnew functionality or negotiating changes to current business practices.
Managing, recruiting,training and developing the Pricing staff.
Responsible forproper account alignment within the Pricingdepartment.
Prepare and deliver
Performance Appraisals on an annual basis. Establish goals and ensure standardsare met.
Continually providecoaching and feedback to others to help strengthen specific skills to helpaccomplish their goals.
Creation/documentationof Policies and Procedures, project analysis/design/testing, price audits,pricing workflow, pricing e-mail database.
Develop good workingrelationships with all Division Departments including, but not limited to,Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Accounting, Data Integrity and IT, in orderto accomplish business goals.
Continuouslyseek opportunities to support and improve our day to day business as it relatesto Pricing. (Including preparing Project Requests, coordinating meetings, be aresource during build phase, testing etc)
Act as a liaisonbetween Customer Financial Services and the IT department for trouble shootingsystem issues with AOM and QAD.
Advocatefor the Continuous Improvement efforts for Pricing within Customer Financial Services.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Atleast 2 years of Supervisory experience
Knowledgeablein Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AOM Order Management
