To support our global business, Luxottica operates multiple manufacturing and logistics facilities across North America to support our retail stores and wholesale customers.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Operations Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, planning, and analysis for the state-of-the-art North American Eyewear Distribution Center.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop successful business partnership with Operations Leadership and key partners by setting short and long term financial and operating targets.

  • Drive the execution of business strategies.

  • Provide overall distribution center financial guidance and control.

  • Lead cost optimization initiatives and evaluate returns of automation projects.

  • Provide financial insights for periodic business reviews with senior management.

  • Lead the financial planning process on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Ensure alignment with corporate standards in terms of accounting, reporting, internal policies and procedures, including external regulations and SOX requirements.

  • Work towards the simplification and automation of finance operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Statistics.

  • 5+ years relevant experience in positions that require analytical business experience and/or operations finance experience.

  • 3+ years experience with supervising reports.

  • Experience with advanced Excel functions.

  • Demonstrate innovative and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience in Logistics, Distribution Center Operations, and/or Manufacturing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, CPA, CMA or similar experience

  • Experience with reporting and data analysis tools such as SAP, Essbase, SQL, MSAccess

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience as an advanced user of MS PowerPoint or similar tools

GENERAL FUNCTION  The Sr. Manager of Employee Relations provides advice and consultation to support Luxottica’s positive employee relations strategy, including but not limited to: investigation of employee open door concerns, consultation with cross functional partners to bring resolution to employees’ questions/concerns in a timely manner, interpretation of company policies for management, assisting management to address employee performance issues, identifying resources to support management’s HR needs, counseling management regarding their responsibilities, supporting compliance efforts and coaching on changes in relevant laws/regulations, interpreting and applying relevant contract provision in union stores.   MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Assumes lead investigative role as part of the Employee Relations Center of Excellence when issues are: Complex and/or High-Level Risk, Unresolved at Tier 2, disciplinary action and/or termination disputes. * Investigates issues by assembling all relevant facts, interviewing case critical witnesses, reviewing similar cases, using knowledge, judgment & experience to recommend a course of action to brand leadership. * Handles complex and emotionally charged issues with composure by addressing the situation objectively, remaining unbiased. * Ensures company policies and practices are followed consistently and fairly and initiates policy changes with leadership when necessitated by current operation needs, legal changes, and required clarifications. * Interprets and applies applicable labor and employment laws, regulations and standards at the federal and state level for applicable laws of Canada. * Accountable for identification, prioritizing, and issue resolution/escalation within established timelines. Partners with relevant brand/department operations leadership. * Identifies risk and potential company liability and uses sound judgment in obtaining legal counsel when warranted. * Develops realistic plans, action steps and timetables for projects and assignments.   BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * 8+ years’ experience in employee and labor relations or related field * 3+ years of related human resources experience or proven record of business management experience * Ability to travel when necessary (10% or less) * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others * Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills * Excellent listening skills and ability to accurately document interviews as necessary to mitigate risk * Demonstrated ability to handle extremely difficult or volatile situations/individuals effectively * Strong consultative and analytical skills and ability to exercise independent judgment based on core policies and practices of the Company * Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and maintain confidentiality * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience * PHR or SPHR certification * Bilingual in French and/or Spanish Upon request and consistent with applicable laws, Luxottica will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities who need assistance in the application and hiring process.
