Who You'll Work With
You will be a member of our finance community in our Waltham Knowledge Center, working closely with the Manager of Cube Finance Intelligence & Insights.
The Intelligence & Insights team is a newly centralized function to be the first source of financial information (reporting, dashboards, analysis tool & frameworks) for both firm leadership and finance colleagues.
The role provides a strong and unique development experience including exposure to an inspiring group of firm leaders, being a part of a global finance team supporting the firm's practices at a pivotal moment in time, and the opportunity to help shape and drive a top-class tech-enabled data and analysis platform.
What You'll Do
You will be a bridge between driving top level analysis and insights and creating the tools and platforms for finance colleagues to bring the same to their individual areas of focus.
You will leverage technology, business acumen and critical/creative thinking to develop data-driven tools to provide facts and perspectives in the service of answering difficult questions about how and where our evolving firm structure is delivering our best to the client community. Then as these themes and frameworks develop, you will work with the I&I team, our finance leads, and other tech partners in the firm to create the self-service and flexible tools that will be the platform for detailed analysis and discovery.
Day to day, this role will be a mix of reviewing and exploring results to deliver insights to firm leadership, focusing on priority themes and identifying emerging trends, and working with Practice Finance and I&I teams to develop global solutions for reporting & analysis needs rising from the various practices we support. You'll also have the opportunity to lead impactful ad hoc analyses and special project work involving multiple practices, and you'll be a key contributor to the strategy, structure and design of our platform of data and tools, moving over time from a disparate portfolio of tableau workbooks and report distribution to a data and analysis platform with fewer points of entry. Additionally, you'll have time to explore white spaces of how we think about and explore our firm's client activity and capability deployment.
This is a special opportunity at McKinsey to continue to advance our use of technology in finance reporting and analysis at the start of a new chapter in the firm's long history of delivering unique and lasting value to our clients.
