Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of two financial analysts and provide appropriate guidance and mentoring

  • Manage month-end financial reporting and delivery of month-end operations reports

  • Manges, modifies and regularly updates our 10-year strategic planning and valuation model

  • Manage financial system (Anaplan), which includes building, developing, documenting and maintaining financial models/budget to support the FP&A team

  • Managing financial models that includes data management, user administration, maintaining lists, modules, dashboards and other model setting to meet business requirements.

  • Provide strategic and tactical support on the monthly forecasting process and annual budgeting and planning processes

  • Prepare executive level presentations, including Board of Director presentations and earnings call support packages

  • Recommend, develop and implement operational analytic models for strategic and operational decision-making including, but not limited to: Customer and Product profitability; Global operating KPI's; Trend analysis and business Influences.

  • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis, including reporting and modeling; and drive insightful analysis of business performance

  • Continuously improve and work across functions to drive efficient processes and systems, and leverage best practices

  • Partner with other members of the finance/accounting teams globally to complete cross functional projects

This position is responsible for leading a team of professionals and working with offshore outsourcing partner/team, to oversee invoice processing and payables accounting. This position will play a key role in departmental projects related to system implementations, process improvements, cross-functional initiatives and subsidiary integrations. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Management of process and team – Responsible for NonMerchandise Payable processes and team. Lead, plan, and coordinate work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform departmental functions and activities. Develop, and utilize metrics to track performance. Ensure operational processes and procedures are compliant and consistent with established procedures and policies. Drive key departmental metrics. Understand business and processes to be able to identify and implement process and system improvements. Plan and ensure execution of department objectives. Review monthly metrics to ensure goals are met. Reporting and Accounting – Responsible for NonMerchandise Payable accounting, reporting account reconciliations including SOX reconciliations. Responsible for ensuring timely distribution of departmental reporting. Responsible for ensuring that the Payables accounting and account reconciliations are completed timely and accurately. Responsible for adherence of departmental SOX controls. Project Management – Represent NonMerchandise Payable department in company initiatives that impact departmental processes. Develop and support strategic alliance with business partners. Participate in cross-functional activities and projects. Responsible for integrating subsidiaries into departmental processes and systems. NATURE AND SCOPE - * Typically reports to a Senior Manager * This position has 3-5 direct reports ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
