Our client, a Global Biopharmaceutical firm, is currently seeking an

Finance Manager for a 3+ month temporary position with the opportunity for extension. The position is located in Lexington

Pay Rate= $52.20-$62.27/hour

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

The specific responsibilities for the role include:

  • Provide complete consulting services in the field of financial services, portfolio investments, long-term financial planning and goals.

  • Ability to make recommendations regarding clients' investments and take action regarding recommendation a part of job duties

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree and finance coupled with 3+ years experience in finance. Management experience is required and a Series 7 license is preferred (a huge plus).

We are looking for a senior leader that has experience with cloud, mobile, and lab automation systems development and implementation in life science settings within clinical/regulated markets with the mission to help make sure our businesses are meeting the needs of customers in domains like clinical diagnostics, transplant diagnostics, anatomical pathology, immunology, microbiology and many other areas. You will be expected to leverage your technical knowledge as well as your knowledge of scientific workflows in clinical laboratory settings to connect all the dots between life sciences, cloud/web development, regulatory compliance, data informatics, and many other facets as we help them create something truly unique and life impacting. You will be responsible for coordinating across functional groups and organizational boundaries to get the right things done at the right time. Your focus will be on the regulated software aspects of our solutions including, but not limited to, initiating projects that will be under design control and validation processes. You are comfortable in a multi-tasking environment often interspersed with travel and meetings with a wide variety of groups, yet you also manage to find the time to dive in deep on requirements definition and solution architecture. Most of all, you are excited about our solutions and the dramatic influence they have on all of us. Essential Functions: * Collaborate with product managers, business development, field/commercial, and engineering stakeholders to establish overall strategy for the Thermo Fisher Digital platform and services in clinical / regulated industries. * Work with divisional stakeholders to distill strategy in to tangible requirements and product roadmaps for the Thermo Fisher Cloud and related software/hardware applications. * Perform research in to industry trends, requirements, and approaches to help ensure strategy and roadmaps are successful in the market place. * Identify and define required system interfaces and map dependencies. * Educate R&D teams about proper processes and approaches to take when developing solutions. * Participate as a consultant in development and implementation projects in the role of program manager, project manager, or product owner as necessary. * Develop a network of experts throughout the organization, industry and suppliers. Bring company and industry knowledge as well as creative technical skills to product creation; be a content, sub-discipline specialist across the company. Qualifications * Background and at least 15 years of experience in information technology, technical program management, software product management, or pre/post sales implementation consulting for enterprise information systems. * At least 5 years of experience with developing and implementing informatics software in a clinical / regulated setting, including knowledge of software lifecycle management best practices in that setting. Experience with understanding how to apply Agile/Scrum processes within that setting is highly desired. * Significant experience with systems that incorporate modern cloud, service-oriented, and IoT architectures. * Significant experience with architectures that satisfy regulated standards such as ISO 14385 and CFR Part II. * Experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and design specifications for software. * Polished written and verbal communication skills; Very comfortable talking and presenting to customers and internal business stakeholders at executive as well as technical individual contributor levels. * Experience working with geographically distributed teams is a strong plus. * Ability to convey very complex information in both written and oral form to both non-technical and deeply technical audiences * A self-starter, detail oriented, and highly motivated individual. * A BS (MS preferred) in a relevant STEM discipline.
