About the role
We are recruiting a Finance Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, this role will be looking after the Finance for our new business model (i2) and will work closely with our Finance team based in New Zealand. We are looking for someone who loves a fast-paced environment, wants to be part of a growing global technology company and are able to create new processes and reporting. In this position you will manage the accounting and finance activities across Invenco in North America. Working closely with our Financial Controller and CFO you will provide accurate and timely production of monthly and annual reporting requirements and ensuring consistent and effective business processes are operating. As the sole Finance role in North America you will be responsible for our tax reporting and financial accounting. It's essential that you have experience completing tax reports and are comfortable working as part of a global team. This will be a varied position - we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who is more than happy to role their sleeves up when needed. The role will also involve the following:

  • Monthly reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Budgets and Forecast.
  • Review and help prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review and revise divisional forecasts on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of various monthly tax returns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of various monthly tax returns, including:
    • Direct Taxes(Federal, State, Wealth and Property)
    • Indirect Taxes (Sales, VAT, GST)
  • Provide assistance in all group taxation matters and return preparation.
  • Provide analysis and commentary in relation to annual accounts and financial reports.
  • Take a pro-active lead in all significant accounting issues.
  • Coordinate and maintain the financial and management accounts and general ledger systems for the US.
  • Establish effective financial and management accounting controls within the finance system.
  • Identify and where applicable financial systems that can support the development and direction of the business and will add ROI.
  • Work closely with our sales and operations team on commerical aspects for our customers.
  • Management of the treasury activities including banking, investment, derivative management, debt issuance, and liquidity management.

Ideally you hold the following experience:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong general accounting background
  • Senior level experience in financial accounting
  • Strong background in tax reconciliation and comfortable filing tax returns
  • Broad experience in financial management - including general accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in dealing with multi-national organisations and foreign currency complexities
  • Skills in forecasting and control of liquidity.
  • Strong ability to analyse and communicate financial information to all levels internal and external to the organisation.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting theory, practice, and internal control.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated matched with strong problem-solving skills.
