Pricing is a critical function and requires a thorough understanding of unique market dynamics around the globe to maximize our first party revenue and profit opportunity. We are currently hiring a Finance Manager to implement pricing for our warranty and reparable business which plays a pivotal role in the Devices business. This role is responsible for partnering with our Commercial and Consumer Sales and Marketing organizations, as well as our field sellers and marketeers, to develop and execute strategic creative pricing strategies to propel Devices and Attach sales around the globe.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven Excel and modeling skills.

  • Able to handle ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at fast pace

  • Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritize as needed

  • Collaborative and inclusive when working with others

  • Synthesize and communicate analyses and reporting; provide insight to leaders

Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $98,800 - $163,300 per year.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to drive the Pricing function for our Surface warranty and reparable business. The role will center around solving complex customer problems using pricing solutions, collaborating with a diverse group of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on growth initiatives, and managing processes and business changes in a fast-paced environment.

This is an impactful role that requires technical, analytical, and communication skills, with proven ability to influence and drive business decisions through financial analysis and effective business partnering. Core responsibilities of the role include:

  • Partnering closely with Surface Marketing and Sales to determine pricing frameworks throughout the product lifecycle from launch to end of life, including effective discounting and bundling strategies

  • Driving business insights to support assumptions and inform pricing strategies through benchmarking, elasticity modelling, and analysis of sales and market data

  • Landing new product pricing and go to market programs with the field

  • Influencing program investments decisions and driving ROI evaluation

  • Developing dynamic pricing models and compliant processes to support pricing integrity and speed to market

  • Built compete analytics and monitoring mechanisms for pricing/promo trends across the world

  • Optimizing share gains and profitability of the Devices portfolio globally

  • In addition, you will also be a key contributor to our Planning responsibilities to increase the attachment of complementary products and services to our Devices sales.
