About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the support for Consumer Small Business Banking Operations with focus on the ASVS line of business.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of financial advisors on diverse and complex business groups regarding matters related to financial data forecasting of financial metrics, operating and strategic reviews

  • Ensure efficient and effective execution of finance strategy based on financial research and economic research

  • Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

  • Recommend opportunities to more experienced management on product pricing, portfolio performance, key metrics forecasting, closing data and validation

  • Make decisions on framework to deliver key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting

  • Maintain effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards

  • Lead implementation of complex projects impacting one or more lines of business

  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives to ensure compliance and manage risk

  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers

  • Lead team to achieve objectives

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Finance

  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a large operations function

  • Strategic planning financials, budgeting, forecasting background

  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to Senior and Executive leaders

  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations through excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas in a global, matrixed organization

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, high-output, time sensitive environment
