This is a key role driving the continued success of the business, partnering closely with the Verification Solutions Leadership, Sales, Product Management, other Finance/Accounting teams, and CIS senior management. It is a highly collaborative, strategic partnering role with opportunity for professional growth and exposure to the broader business. The Finance Manager reports to the Commercial Finance Director.

Consumer Information Services (CIS) is the largest division within North America, generating over $1 billion in revenue in fiscal 2021. CIS is looking for a strong Finance Manager to join their commercial team as a verifications solutions business partner. This is a dynamic role which will include the integration of newly acquired businesses in the verification solutions and related services space. This key role combines financial ownership with close business partnering to support continued growth, and provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing organization.
What you'll be doing
Close partnering with the various employer & verification solutions stakeholders, including Product Management, Sales, Pricing, and Development teams to provide clear and timely insights and visibility to drive revenue and EBIT growth opportunities
Coordinating acquisition related finance integration activities enabling the business to deliver on its objectives
Managing the multiple acquisition earn-outs in terms of reporting and thought leadership regarding revenue and cost allocations
Ownership of the various revenue streams across the acquisitions and related costs for Employer & Verification Solutions within CIS, understanding key drivers of profitability, identifying potential risks/opportunities, and maximizing growth across the BU
Manage end to end business processes for month-end/quarter-end close requirements, annual budget, forecasts, and strat plan. This includes planning communication such as internal executive meetings, coordination of presentations to executive leadership, and collaboration with all key stakeholders
Improve current processes and procedures as we integrate the different business, looking for opportunities to streamline and automate while applying financial discipline, and collaborating with business partners to deliver the broader CIS business strategy
Establish best practices, embrace and promote a culture that emphasizes accountability, integrity, partnership and transparency
What your background looks like
5 years of related experience in commercial finance, FP&A or closely related role
Intellectual curiosity, proactive and proven growth mindset
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline; MBA preferred; familiarity with Tableau a plus
Highly collaborative, accountable, and eager to work with business leaders in a fast-paced environment
Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player with the ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously
High degree of commercial acumen; able to drive high level processes while maintaining attention to detail
Progressive experience across multiple financial domains including financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, management reporting, budgeting and strategic planning
Aptitude to learn and drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment. Experience leading improvement efforts in finance preferred
Working knowledge of GAAP or IFRS
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner; ability to adapt message and analysis to fit the audience
