The City of St. Peters has a market-based salary structure consisting of progressive levels of pay according to defined position criteria. The Finance Manager position has a current starting salary of $87,588.80, with the potential to reach top of scale at year five of employment, which is currently $108,472.00.

The City of St. Peters has an immediate opening for a newly created Finance Manager position in the Staff Support Services Group.

The Finance Manager is responsible for preparing and managing the City's Annual Budget and 5-year Capital Improvement Plan. In addition, this position is responsible for city-wide grant administration and managing property and liability insurance, including policy administration, claims management, and third-party services.

The City of St. Peters is looking for a motivated, finance or accounting professional with a minimum of four (4) years of applicable experience.

Four (4) years of complex budget preparation experience with a municipality or public entity is preferred. The City seeks a candidate with great character who is team-oriented and has excellent communication and presentation skills.
