Financial business partner for the Cardiology business (~$125M annual revenue budget). Partners with the Cardiology General Manager and Milwaukee leadership team to drive financial initiatives and plans for profitable growth.


  • Works with senior management and other finance team members to develop 3Y Year Plan, Annual Budget and Quarterly/Monthly forecasts for Cardiology business

  • Monitors and reports on Cardiology performance; daily reporting, dashboards, month-end reporting and monthly operating reviews; ensures consistency of financial reporting for all areas of responsibility with HRC standards

  • Financial modeling for new products and initiatives, projects in accordance with HRC standards

  • Financial management of Cardiology Clinical Research Organization (CRO) business (~$15M revenue)

  • Directs activities of Financial Leadership Development Candidate (FLDP)

  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Bachelor or Masters' degree: Accounting and/or Finance

  • 5 years' related experience

  • Strong leadership skills; both supervision and ability to work with a team

  • Ability to evaluate, interpret, and incorporate financial data into decision-making process.

  • Ability to establish strategic direction and drive execution.

VIEW JOBS 12/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-09T00:00 Manager - Client Finance Chicago, IL Job Overview: Responsible for managing the day to day finance operations for Mindshare's Chicago clients. Partner with the Finance Director and Operations Director and Associate Finance Director to meet the financial needs of the client service team and the client in a high volume environment. Job Responsibilities: * Develop relationships with account to be seen as an assistant to finance related needs/issues * Submit and track all jobs for both Chicago and LA * To help ensure that revenue is billed in accordance with the contract and scope of work * Prepare labor reconciliations for assigned clients * Work with the FD and Associate FD to track office allocations and match to revenue * Put through invoices and billing against client accounts * Collaborate with Controller's group to facilitate invoice approvals * Help provide monthly reporting to agency and client. Examples of the kind of reporting include hours reporting, budget to actual reporting for media spending, revenue forecasts and monthly revenue actuals, verifying inter-company bills and time of staff costs. * Work with the account management team to ensure the coding structure in the billing system is in line with the client's needs. * Work with the client accounting department to make sure all billing is being pulled in accordance with the client's needs. * Set up procedures to comply with the client contract. * Perform ad hoc tasks as required Job Requirements: * 3-4+ years of Client Finance or Finance experience * A strong team player with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization * Working knowledge of accounting functions * Detail oriented with excellent time management and follow-through skills * Ability to be a dynamic member of a team * Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint * Working knowledge of DDS a plus * Undergraduate degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business) About Mindshare At Mindshare, we believe in speed, teamwork and provocation.
