Finance Manager

What would you do as our Finance Manager:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journals with supporting documentation, and reviewing monthly journal entries. Additionally, your role will involve conducting month-end reporting in HFM and performing detailed analysis to prepare management accounts, including explanatory commentary for significant movements.

We expect your duties to be performed in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.

You would also:

• Generate timely and accurate cost center expenditure reports for departmental managers, providing backup information and addressing queries on Cost ledger performance reports.

• Conduct a review and analysis of payroll cost trends, while also processing and monitoring deferred revenue.

• Calculate prepayments and accruals, maintain a fixed asset register, and handle IFRS16 accounting for leased assets.

• Liaise with auditors and prepare supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with financial standards.

• Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, conduct modeling and scenario analysis for senior management's financial strategy decisions, and engage in business partnering with international sales offices, summarizing and presenting forecast trends.

The skills and experience you need:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has HFM and SmartView, SAP knowledge (it is a plus)

• Has previous experience of working within a busy finance function

• Has strong Excel skills

• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, used to working to tight deadlines providing accurate and timely information to a high standard and promote business partnering.
