Job Summary:

The Land and Air Defense (LADS) team is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the MRAD Product Area as the Qatar/Oman Finance Lead.

The flagship product within the MRAD portfolio is the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) that is built in partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA). The system includes a RTX built AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel Radar, a KDA Fire Distribution Center and a Launcher that uses both KDA and RTX components. NASAMS is currently deployed in over 13 countries around the world and the LRP has multiple Domestic and International Captures.

The successful candidate will collaborate with key leaders within the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IPT Leads providing the team with financial management, insight, and solutions to better drive program execution excellence. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization. This position requires the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management as well as execute hands on with the finance team.

This position is a hybrid role and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. The preferred candidate will work onsite in Tewksbury, MA. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Execute program cost and schedule management

  • Provide monthly cost and schedule variance and data analysis

  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness

  • Monthly forecasting

  • Development and support of financial short and long term planning activities

  • Support NASAMS proposal activities

  • Ensure adequate financial controls in place that provide a balance between finance goals and operational goals

  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development

  • Establish and maintain program logs (MR,UB, BCRs, etc.)

  • Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

  • Typically requires 5 years applicable work experience in finance; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years applicable work experience

  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

  • Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Experience with FAR and/or DFAR

  • Experience with proposals

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Production and/or Operations

  • Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process

  • Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures

  • Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written)

  • Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Proficient with APEX/SAP/PRISM

  • EVMS Certified

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
