Finance Intern

The Finance Intern is responsible for the creating, approving, and tracking of all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role will also include some financial analysis and ad hoc assignments. The intern will work with Consultants and Business Services to perform these functions while supporting the development of the subsidiary.

  • Create, submit, and track Accounts Receivable invoices

  • Create and approve expense reports using Concur

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations

  • Contribute to making reports more streamlined and interpretative

  • Assist with balance sheet accrual reconciliations and other month end closing activities

  • Provide feedback to management regarding risks and opportunities

  • Assist department managers and staff with financial questions and analysis

  • Provide support and complete other projects as assigned

  • Able to commit between 30 - 40 hours per week



  • Recent graduate or Seniors currently attaining Bachelor's Degree with focus on Finance, Accounting, or comparable study is required

  • Advance knowledge with Excel

  • Strong financial acumen is helpful

  • Ability to use basic financial management tools and concepts

  • Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting principles is a plus

  • Knowledge of ERP systems

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications

  • Proactivity and ability to work independently

  • Detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy

Track progress against long and short-term sales and operationsinitiatives. * Performanalysis regarding internal sales vs. external market demand to ensure appropriatesales resource allocation between customer segments. * Assistthe management team with follow-up on key action plans for operations as well assales. Analytical Skills: * High degree of analytical ability, including valuation, business performance analysis. * Verifies assumptions or interpretations by checking with credible sources or through first-hand observation and data-gathering. * Skilled in analyzing financial statements and researching significant fluctuations/variances or performance trends. * Experience in compiling and coordinating capital and operating budgeting and forecasting. Experience and knowledge of financial economic valuation methods. Consulting Skills: * Recommends/advises management on the probability of results/success for a specific action. Project Management Skills: * Must be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment. * Ability to plan, organize and complete projects.
