Job Overview Summary

The Finance Intern is responsible for reviewing, compiling, and analyzing financial data to aid management with timely and accurate financial information which drives business decisions. The Finance Intern will also assist with the active management of the delinquent accounts to achieve optimum cash flow for the company, in addition to posting payments and ensuring the accuracy of the customer payment application.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Researches disputed delinquent account balances and takes appropriate action to resolve the underlying issues.

• Process and monitor credits and returns to ensure that the receivable aging report reflects valid and collectable balance.

• Prepare customer spend and budget estimate reports for Review Services customers.

• Enter contractual payment terms and PO/TO/SOW information into NetSuite.

• Other duties as may be assigned.

Location

This role is open to candidates working in Wellesley, MA or remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

• Graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field

• High School Diploma required

Preferred Qualifications

• Must possess personal integrity and collaborative and effective problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

• Attention to detail and goal oriented

• Exemplary organization

• Well proven and practical knowledge of credit and collections

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation

• Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.

• Learn and comprehend basic instructions

• Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities

• Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
