POSSIBLE Cincinnati is looking for a dynamic, forward thinking Finance Director with experience in financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced environment. We want a team player that works closely with our department, the Client Service teams and our Executives. This individual must live by POSSIBLE values and provide the highest level of customer service to our internal and external clients.
What you'll do:
Provide strategic leadership on financial matters specified accounts.
Help prepare quarterly financial forecasts and review with senior management. For clients, create profitability reports, investigates unexpected results with teams.
Prepare month end revenue recognition calculation, journal entries and account reconciliations.
Analyze financial information and reports significant findings.
Support SVP, Operations on pricing strategies and contract review and negotiations.
Generate assigned management reporting including insightful analysis and commentary to tell the story and provide a basis for action. Review the work of others to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Collect, analyze and present financial information to business partners identifying risks and opportunities to aid the team in meeting their specific goals.
Act as a catalyst for change by driving results and playing a strong leadership role in finding solutions and adding value.
Improve the budgeting process through education of project team leads and department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
Ensure the integrity and security of financial systems and business processes to maintain legal and regulatory compliance (full scope SOX compliance).
What you'll need:
7 10 years of experience in an agency environment or service-based industry. Manager experience a must.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is required. CPA certification preferred.
Industry marketing, digital, advertising experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
Experience with SOX Compliance.
