Job Overview

Responsible for all accounting and project management of projects and programs for specific clients. This includes preparing and ensuring accuracy of all reconciliations necessary for presentation to the client, ensuring spreadsheets match web-based client reporting system information for client viewing, and supervision of analytical staff who are primarily responsible for gathering and recording detailed costs for accounting entries and web-based client reporting system posting. This person is responsible for invoicing clients for all projects and programs in a timely manner. In addition, this person is tasked with creating management reports from the accounting system, and from independent analysis.

Essential Functions

  • Establishes and maintains client reports that are tracking spending oat a detail level

  • Ensures that all reporting is equivalent to web-based client reporting system related postings.

  • Reviews work of staff to ensure all information is recorded in the proper job and cost category.

  • Ensures all spending related documentation is filed on a timely basis for client substantiation and audit.

  • Establishes all new signed sales orders in the accounting software package. Also creates the appropriate job folder for the project

  • Invoices the client in accordance with agreed terms.

  • Reviews costs incurred to date to determine invoicing and recognition of revenue.

  • Reconciles actual activity to contract when project is completed.

  • Cross-trains with Project Finance Analyst to double-cover all clients

  • Creates and maintains management reports as required

  • Trains others in project-management-specific and other technical skills

  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed.

  • Assist in financial integration (payments and invoicing)

  • Complete monthly sanctions analysis

  • Maintains a level of high confidentiality on transactions

  • Provides monthly financial reporting to constituencies.

  • Ensures that the recording, measurement and reporting of all financial transactions adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal IQVIA corporate policies and procedures, government regulations and local business requirements.

  • Provides analytical and information support related to acquisitions, divestitures, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Procurement initiatives for Commercial Solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, accounting, and finance.

  • Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Financial Management.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

  • Knowledge of financial systems (SAP, workamajig)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Results and detail-oriented approach to work delivery and output

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.

  • Technical proficiency with financial application software is essential.

  • High level of integrity and self-confidence.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $51,300.00 - $84,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
