Finance & Budget Administrator 1 (Public Housing & Community Development)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management or related field. Three years of professional administrative experience to include budget preparation, financial analysis, expenditure monitoring and auditing are required.

Recruitment Notes

This position involves analyzing and assisting in the development of PHCD's operational budget data, to includes the preparation of evaluating program data, and to prepare and forecast results of the department's operating budgets for county, federal and state programs, including (HUD) Housing and Urban Development), CPD (Community Planning Development), HOME, ESG, CDBG, SHIP and SURTAX.

Pursuant to the authority in Chapter 8B of the Code of Miami-Dade County, when there is a declared state of emergency issued for any portion of Miami-Dade County, all employees of Public Housing and Community Development will be required to adhere to directives from the Mayor or the Mayor's designee to report to work and perform all duties assigned during a declared state of emergency.
