As a finance associate on the Sales Finance team, you'll work with our sales leaders to monitor business progress, identify underlying trends and make strategic business decisions. Your role is to translate complex data into actionable insights, which means you can focus on the details and also solve big-picture challenges. The Sales Finance team optimizes value creation for pinners, advertisers and Pinterest through disciplined business leadership and seamless financial execution. We do this by developing financial forecasts, providing decision support through analysis, generating internal reports, monitoring key performance indicators and scaling financial processes. We're looking for an expert in finance and strategy who uses an analytical, collaborative, results-oriented approach to drive progress.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with the sales team on developing financial and strategic business plans while coordinating and scaling sales finance process to ensure consistency and efficiency across the globe

  • Leverage technical expertise to execute quantitative modeling and analysis

  • Provide weekly and quarterly reporting and insights to a segment of the ads business

  • Create dashboards to scale monitoring of key performance indicators and tools to drive business growth

  • Work in partnership with Sales Strategy & Operations, assisting with a range of operational issues

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, banking, consulting or a related quantitative field (BA Degree, ideally in a quantitative or technical field)

  • Experience partnering with C-level executives

  • Experience writing SQL queries and retrieving data from relational databases

  • Exceptional spreadsheet skills with experience creating financial dashboards and models

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Google Slides)

We are searching for a Finance Associate to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help drive the financial, strategic, and operational planning for the organization. Responsibilities * Partner with leaders across the business to drive financial, strategic, and operational planning * Help define, measure, and refine the key drivers of the business and how those impact Aurora's future strategy * Drive monthly and quarterly financial reviews and forecasts with leaders across the business Essential * 2-3 years experience at a top tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity firm * Strong strategic thinker; comfortable with ambiguity and able to connect the dots across the business as we plan for tomorrow * Dives into data to not just understand the what, but also the why and what should be done * Rockstar modeling skills * Structured problem-solver who can manage priorities across multiple stakeholders * Strong communication and presentation skills Desirable * Experience w/ financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive Insights, Vena, etc.) * Experience using Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools * Understanding of and a passion for all areas of transportation, including self-driving cars, mobility as a service, and vehicle technology Working at Aurora Our work has real purpose.
