WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Collaborate with the Vice President of Finance and work in close partnership with the corporate accounting team and the operational teams for the Properties Development, Apartment Living and Senior Living Divisions.

Provide financial and risk analysis for new and existing projects including pro forma preparation, as well as loan covenant testing, and assist the team with forecasting.

Improve operational value by assessing and creating financial models for debt structure and cash flow as well as assist in the preparation of our ten-year cash flow projection twice a year.

Financial Modeling & Reporting for Apartment and Senior Living projects that includes debt schedules.

Monitor existing portfolio, projects in lease up and projects under construction to evaluate our return on investments as well as adherence to covenants or other requirements.

Collaborate on the creation of risk models and enhance existing for various lines of business as well for the overall organization.

Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual cash flow projections.

Provide operational support to the Vice President with pro forma modeling, analysis, ensuring accuracy of proposed deals and preparing weekly cash forecasts.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience with financial reporting preferred.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and problem solving

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting

  • General understanding of construction and permanent financing.

  • Project management skills and abilities capable of balancing multiple and competing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
