Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive ad revenue in partnership with Sales Directors and Category leads by developing

  • upfront/ contract opportunities for accounts within a range of categories, such as Spirits and CPG

  • annual Enterprise Partnerships with Agency Holding companies, packaging print, digital, video and research strategies

  • Prepare insightful strategic analysis and proposal recommendations, including concise and compelling rationale for and benefits of the rate structure

  • Manage all aspects of print rate requests, both from internal brand sellers and from external agency partners, for accounts within assigned categories, from analysis to negotiations to final billing confirmation.

  • Collaborate with digital revenue yield team to develop compelling and holistic program and contract offerings

  • Produce print rate sheets for planning purposes and estimated media schedules

  • Draft and traffic contract documents and LOAs from review to signature

  • Track and communicate contract status throughout fiscal year; inclusive of weekly and monthly reports

  • Collaborate with print production team for developing and pricing special ad units

  • Oversee with CN A/R team Billing & Accrual for assigned accounts to ensure invoices are released based on the most current and accurate deal information.

  • Ad hoc reports as necessary

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experiences and qualities:

  • College degree required

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience within a media, business, finance, or advertising agency setting

  • Strong math skills, ability to apply logic, creativity and flexible thought to develop sound pricing solutions

  • Verbal and written communication skills for clear, concise and compelling articulation of rational and benefits of pricing solutions

  • Interest in finance, advertising sales and media strategy

  • Experience in print and digital media, and in reconciling billings

  • Ability to multi-task and to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Mac operating systems, Google Drive/Docs and Keynote, with flexibility and resourcefulness that allows quick sourcing and mastery of new computer tools (ie Salesforce, MediaRadar, Moat Pro, AAM Statements, Kantar MagAdvisor & Stradegy)

The criteria and models that the group develops and maintains help analysts produce independent credit ratings that increase S&P Global's analytical relevance in the market. As a Methodology Model SME, you will be embedded within the SF team and work closely with the Model and Criteria SMEs, which is responsible for developing and maintaining a growing portfolio of cutting-edge quantitative tools and analysis that enable analysts to continually produce high quality and transparent credit analysis. What We're Looking For: Basic Qualifications * Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related field; * Masters or advanced degree optional. * 3-5 years work experience in relevant field; * Management or coaching experience * Knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments with an emphasis on credit risk modeling are preferred; * Basic understanding of database modeling/design and applications.
