Job Description

As a Finance Associate Analyst at PepsiCo, you will be a key Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Finance Associate Analyst will be a key contact within the NAN SG&A team. The Finance Associate Analyst will provide overall process support for period close, preparation of forecasts, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), along with financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing insightful analysis of SG&A business results and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem-solving and business-improving recommendations

  • Reporting and analysis including periodic reporting and forecast analysis

  • Period close activities to include working closely with the controller's group to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries

  • BPC system administrator and key systems contact for cost center owners

  • Undertaking ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested

  • Working with cross-functional teams to manage P&L expectations

Qualifications/Requirements

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years of finance analyst experience

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights

  • Ability to function well in a team environment

  • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to manage information gathering requests and effectively interact with cross-functional partners

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications (experience with BPC/SAP/Concur a plus)

  • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision

  • Results-oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

The Sales Finance Associate Manager is a key finance contact for the Kroger Warehouse Sales team and part of the National Account Sales Finance organization. This role provides support for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly Business Plan (QBP), period forecasts, and period close, along with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for the Kroger Gatorade business. Responsibilities include: * Own P&L for Kroger Gatorade business, becoming subject matter expert on Gatorade at PBNA's largest Grocery customer * Provide insights on business results and key drivers of performance to Sales and Finance leadership, including regular presentations and opportunity to influence senior leaders * Partner with Sales Directors in identifying and solving strategic issues, including development of strategic initiatives and recommendations for profitable growth * Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Quarterly Business Plan (QBP) development, including financial modeling, data analysis, recommendations, and deck preparation * Partner with Field Sales team in forecasting and analysis, including development of promotional event recommendations and post event analysis * Analyze trade accruals, ensuring balance sheet accuracy and compliance with SOX requirements * Work with cross-functional teams to manage P&L expectations Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred) Work Experience: * 5-8 years of experience and practical exposure in some of the following areas: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, and Procurement, etc.). Skills & Capabilities: * Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
