This role is primarily responsible for general ledger accounting including monthly close, journal entries and account reconciliation preparation as well as P&L analysis and other finance projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly close entries in NetSuite for review and approval by the Accounting Manager
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations using Blackline reconciliation and matching software
Responsibilities include but are not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, and accruals
Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements for the Board of Directors and monthly variance analyses
Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
Work with our tax advisors and Controller regarding a variety of tax and compliance topics
Assist with annual audit requests as required
Assist in identifying process improvements
Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting
1-3 years accounting experience
Ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines; highly detail oriented and organized in work
Experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline a plus (not required)
Proficient in Advanced Excel functions including pivot tables and vlookups
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively cross-functionally and with all levels of employees, management, and external advisors to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and deliver results

VIEW JOBS This role is responsible for the Company’s corporate accounting policies and select compliance matters, technical accounting research, drafting technical accounting memoranda associated with complex transactions, preparing the consolidated and statutory financial statements, among other duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Prepare memorandums regarding the Company’s technical accounting positions for review by upper financial management and external auditors, including but not limited to revenue recognition, mergers and acquisitions, debt, and equity transactions</li> <li>Assist on certain complex accounting topics and support the finance leadership in thinking through complex questions on such topics.</li> <li>Assist with development and maintenance of the global accounting policies, including working with various stakeholders to draft and implement new accounting policies as needed</li> <li>Analyze revenue and other financial information for the purpose of identifying and resolving technical accounting and reporting issues</li> <li>Lead the accounting for stock-based compensation including share reconciliation expense calculation and stock share count</li> <li>Assist with technical and financial reporting aspects of the external audit</li> <li>Assist with preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to senior management, Board of Directors and other external 3rd parties</li> <li>Prepare and review select balance sheet reconciliations</li> <li>Monitor and analyze accounting data while assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements</li> <li>Assist with unclaimed property recording, reconciliation and compliance.</li> <li>Assist and complete various compliance matters, such as company census reports</li> <li>Collaborate with the Controllership team on recording and reconciliation of technical accounting transactions</li> <li>Assist with special projects designed to implement and improve processes and to facilitate change</li> <li>Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy</li> <li>Assist with the worldwide consolidation process and adherence to ASC 810</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by Management</li> </ul> *ADA Essential DutiesRequirements<ul> <li>Active CPA license plus Bachelor’s or higher degree required (Accounting or Finance related)</li> <li>Minimum of 3 to 4 years in finance and accounting experience in public accounting and/or private industry</li> <li>Big 4 experience strongly preferred</li> <li>Strong technical accounting skills</li> <li>M&A experience a plus</li> <li>Experience with technical accounting matters such as ASC 606 (Revenue), ASC 810 (Consolidations), ASC 805 (Business Combinations) and ASC 842 (Leases), among others. </li> <li>International accounting experience (IFRS) a plus</li> <li>Proven experience in making process improvements</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel</li> <li>A solid knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite and/or Blackline experience a plus)</li> <li>Above average skills with all MS Office Suite tools</li> <li>Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask to achieve goals in a deadline-driven environment</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple competing tasks and meet multiple project deadlines</li> <li>Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively cross-functionally and with all levels of employees, management, and external advisors</li> <li>Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills</li> <li>Ability to inspire trust and maintain good relationships</li> <li>Possess an intellectual curiosity and analytical problem solving abilities</li> </ul>FLSA Status: Exempt
