As a Pricing Analyst, a typical day might include:
Support Pricing Manager with pricing tasks including request for proposal analysis, competitive requests, and price maintenance.
Perform financial impact analysis to model and track pricing actions and effectiveness
Perform financial analysis to identify new margin & sales growth opportunities
Assist pricing team with additional routine and ad-hoc data analysis.
Closely collaborate with Pricing Management, Finance, Sales, Legal, Category Management and Generic Sales teams to provide critical information, resolve issues and support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Develop and standardized processes, tools, and templates for business case/deal analytics
Interact with project sponsors, stakeholders and various project members to ensure that specific business needs are met. Assists in data mining and ad-hoc analysis to ensure that requirements are fulfilled on routine and ad-hoc assignments.
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration,finance, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocationsgenerally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree programor equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires One(1) to three (3) years directly related and progressively responsibleexperience.
