Finance Analytics Manager

  • Beverage

This Finance Manager will help oversee the P&L for certain segments of the Beverage business unit. This role will have full P&L analytic responsibilities, which will involve working collaboratively with the Beverage organization, including the Beverage Order to Cash team, as well as various other financial analytics teams in the Finance umbrella. This role will be responsible for reporting P&L goal v actual results, as well as assisting in forecasting future results based on changes in operations. This role will also collaborate to identify opportunities for operational improvements in the business to drive optimal financial results. Ultimately, our team is responsible for collecting, reporting and analyzing / interpreting key financial information with associated presentation to and recommendations for decision makers / senior leadership both within and outside of the Finance Department.

Essential Functions

  • Provide financial expertise, analysis, and guidance in direct support of the company's leadership team collaborating with team members at all levels of the company.

  • Develop financial and data models to aid in better understanding overall financial performance and value creation.

  • Collaborate with Beverage Manufacturing Sales and Order to Cash team to identify areas of opportunity to improve financial results.

  • Create and/or generate necessary reporting and analyses for business segments, brands, and products in support of decision making, including expansion or reduction of product portfolio.

  • Responsible for financial analysis of certain customers related in the Beverage business unit.

  • Responsible for complex and comprehensive financial activities or functions related to P&L management including ownership, oversight, and support of revenue analysis, and operating expense trends.

  • Design, develop and prepare accurate and timely reports and analysis, providing financial guidance and general business direction for influencing business decisions.

  • Investigate and explain variances or unexpected results.

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports that provide management with information used in decision-making.

  • Assist in the analysis of financial data and extract and define relevant information.

  • Assume leadership role on the team and manage own team.

  • Review and improve workflow and processes within the Finance department

  • Assist Directors with key projects with short lead time to ensure accurate and quality work product is presented

  • Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance

  • Assist cross functional departments in analysis to improve overall company financial and operations performance

  • Work closely with other managers within the Finance and Accounting team to ensure consistency in presentation

Additionally, the ideal candidate should demonstrate:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, VBA, etc)

  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Access); other database management included

  • Previous experience with Oracle or other ERP system, preferred

  • Experience and comfort with large data set extraction, clean-up and analysis

  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work assignments with limited guidance in a changing environment

  • Ability to seek and obtain information from a wide range of sources and individuals both within, and outside of, the Finance department

  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and complete assignments quickly and accurately.

Education

  • Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field

  • Master's Degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$116,624.00 - $163,274.00 / Yearly

Bonus Target: 10% Annual
