Job Description:

  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes financial forecasts for the Gorilla business through creation of financial models, collaboration with functional experts, and preparation of analysis for internal use, including monthly control forecasts, Blackbook, Greenbook

  • Presents results and analysis in small and large group settings

  • Analyzes, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control

  • Performs defined and/or targeted analysis to determine present and future financial performance

  • Supports cross-functional projects and helps coordinate financial communications

  • Collects and analyzes data on financial and or operational metrics and performances

  • Assists with analysis and preparation of financial and budgetary reports

  • Compiles and reviews data for accuracy; prepares trend analysis

  • Executes routine, ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business unit objectives and business partner relationships

  • Assist Business Controllers in monitoring and forecasting expense spending to ensure accuracy and understanding of reported results

  • Maintain & improve SOX controls

  • Division SME for Khalix/BPC Tools

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science
  • MBA/CPA preferred
  • 2-3 years practical experience

Required Skills:

  • Strong accounting skills with global focus

  • Proven analytical skills and ability to link to business impact

  • Strong presentation (written, oral) and communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills; Advanced proficiency in Excel

The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements. Role Description: Develop and execute tactical Demand/Supply Plan based on most recent Demand statement. The execution of the tactical Demand/Supply Plan should rely on planner's ability to work with different functions and plants to ensure that the proper resources are allocated and supply executed upon to meet demand statements. Responsibilities: * Develop weekly Demand/Supply Plan based on weekly Demand Statement utilizing Division's planning tool. * Review tactical FS Demand/Supply Plan with GG Supply Chain Manager and with Demand Management team to assure inventory targets are being met and there are no risks in meeting existing orders. * Utilize weekly FS Demand/Supply Plan to develop product melt schedules (Tactical Plans) for each plant and melting line. * Ensure tactical plan is executed on time and elevate any potential risks to meeting the plan to the Gorilla Glass Supply Chain Manager. * Provide guidance to the operating units on what to prioritize for shipment and ensure glass that is on hold at plants gets dispositioned and released in timely manner. * Manage and maintain data and assumptions used in planning tool: * Inventory Safety Stock targets * Tank melting capabilities (products, thicknesses, …) * Line Downtime * Shipping routes (lead time/costs) * Execute weekly planning meetings with supply chain at each plant to communicate plans, identify and discuss issues, and ensure Gorilla planning understands the latest manufacturing assumptions and constraints. Education/Experience: * Required: Bachelor of Science: Business, Technical or Supply Chain * 1-3 years Supply Chain, Production Planning, Forecasting and/or Logistics experience preferred.
